Welcome to Tanzania
For centuries, the vibrant country of Tanzania has captured the imagination of travellers, adventure-seekers and daydreamers from the furthest-flung corners of the world. This is a land of dramatic and awe-inspiring contrasts which affords any visitor an unforgettable experience. Whether it’s the heart-stopping drama of watching thousands of wildebeest struggle their way across a raging river; the breathtaking spectre of an acacia tree silhouetted against a blazing Tanzania sunset, or the simple joy of observing tribes people living in harmony with nature, Tanzania comprises a return to life’s most fundamental beauty.
WHY TANZANIA?
The exclusivity
Throughout the entire world, Tanzania has the largest tracts of land given over to nature conservation; yet, it remains the least touched. Of the five major safari destinations, East Africa hosts the fewest visitors.
The sights
Tanzania has the highest mountain on the continent, the spectacular Mount Kilimanjaro. It also hosts three of Africa’s largest lakes, the biggest being Lake Victoria and the deepest, the beautiful Lake Tanganyika. This area also boasts the most famous National parks on the planet, including Serengeti, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara. You will encounter friendly faces and experience African warmth and hospitality while your adventure takes you across the famed Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro, and the Rift Valley.
The game
Almost 25% of Tanzania is given over to the protection of as much as 20% of Africa’s largest mammals. If you want to experience the Big Five, this is your destination.
Our strength
The success of our safaris depends largely on the quality of our staff, and we are fortunate in having a team of long-serving, experienced and professional driver/guides with a sound knowledge of flora and fauna. They also have experience in first aid and speak several languages.
